Half body Warm

I tend to get horribly cold, so every winter is unbearable. I’ve been under the weather, so I’m trying to a method called ‘Hietori’ . It might be a good idea half body bathing.

There are more some ways to get warm. I’m wearing many layers of toe socks even in summer. I’m always wearing two pairs of socks, even when I go to bed. It would be better if the first socks directly touching my foot are made from natural material. Wear many articles of clothing on the lower body. In particular, I’ve been keeping my lower body warm.

The most important is that keeping your mind calm. I’m trying to relieve stress all the time. If I make it habit to these things, I’ll make sure my body doesn’t get colder.

Careful about what I eat

Rakkyo Pickles

When I think of summer, I think of rakkyo’s pickles. I’ve soaked the rakkyou, a Japanese scallion, in vinegar for a month. The pickled scallion is finally ready to eat. It’s really healthy and it will help improve blood circulation when you eat it for three days.

Umeboshi

I tried one of my grandma’s home remedies that parched some plums in an earthen pot for four hours. Then I grind in a mortar and put the powder in the cup and add hot water. It works wonders for cold.

The most important is try to not overeat. If I able to keep these things, it will make me feel better about my physical problem.

Burying in the Sand

Have you ever been buried in the sand for eight hours?

I went to the sea to be buried in the sand. This is called ‘Sunayoku’. I heard that it can help me with illness, the good health, and diet. Sunayoku is a therapy where the sand helps to draw out a lot of toxins from the body. It goes back 200 years, where people would also be buried in the sand if they were poisoned by a globefish they ate. That’s why I spent a day in the sand during which I heard the sound of the waves and the skylark. After that, I was able to sleep comfortably even though I had insomnia. My eczema became soft and smooth.

Ayurveda at Home

I started to massage by myself called Ayurveda. I usually massage my whole body with white sesame oil in a double boiler. Then I take a break for ten minutes while the poison exits out of my body. After that, I take a shower. What’s mote, I’ve been drinking hot water instead of cold water. I’ll make sure my stomach doesn’t get cold all day. It might increase my basal metabolism.

I had a Shirodhara massage for relaxation recently. Shirodhara is one of many treatments by Ayurveda that continuously pours hot oil on to the forehead.
During the treatment I felt comfortable. It felt like I was meditating. If you end up going there, I’m sure you’ll also have an amazing time.
